Description
This 20-hour course is aimed at architects, civil engineers, mechanical and eletrical engineers, wishing to gain a more detailed knowledge of family creation in Autodesk Revit and gain practical experience to confidentiality start using the software in practice.
The course is delivered by one of Walter Academy’s registered ATC instructor using a combination of presentations, interactive sessions and work on real-life projects. Students will gain hands-on experience of using the Revit software, in particular Family Editor, on topics listed in the program. The focus of the course will be a practical application of Autodesk Revit and the students will gain necessary knowledge to create families of different types for their own projects. Furthermore, students will gain part of the knowledge needed to pass Autodesk Revit Professional Certification.
When it comes to pre-requisites, underlying knowledge of engineering and drafting practice is recommended. Experience of using CAD and Revit basic packages is advantageous but not essential. Candidates should be accustomed to working with Microsoft Windows as well as posses general computer literacy.
